TYPO3 t3extplorer – path traversal

The nice folks over at the TYPO3 security team have just released an advisory regarding a bug in t3extplorer that I stumbled on sometime last year. It seems that the author of the extension isn’t playing ball (or isn’t available for some reason), so unfortunately there won’t be a fix.

As there’s no fix for this one I won’t be releasing any information on the bug itself (although I doubt it’s that hard to find).

If you’re using this extension, please take time to remove it from you TYPO3 installs (yes, even the ones you use for DEV and Q&A).
