Internet-Privacy The news has been scattered with stories over the last few years about how good and bad social networks like Myspace and Facebook are. Moving away from the fact that they are just a pale replacement for real friends, it seems all they offer now is a way to have your system hacked through cross-site scripting, or your information tracked and stored through the latest Facebook debacle, the Beacon ad system.

It seems that no matter where you choose to spend your time on the Internet nowadays, the companies running the sites think it’s their right to track you and use this information for whatever purposes they deem appropriate.

Behavioural advertising is big business, but how far can it go before it eats away at our privacy. What little we have left that is….
