Interviews and podcasts

This week has been an eventful one. Not only am I reduced to typing slowly and painfully with my left hand (don’t ask, it’s a long story *), but the audio for my guest appearance on the Security Justice podcast is out as well.

Many thanks to all the guys over at Security Justice for letting me get on the show and be a general media whore 😉

Ryan Dewhurst over at http://www.ethicalhack3r.co.uk also asked me to do a short written interview for his Blogs  “people in infosec” feature. I’m a bit long winded, but aren’t I always ! So if you want to read my comments on conferences, ethical hacking courses and general stuff, pop over to his blog and take a look. While you’re there, take make sure to take a peek at his excellent DVWA (Damn Vulnerable Web App) project.

* Well, it’s not really that long. Needless to say a neck/back injury that’s been plaguing me for a few years have flared up again. Currently I have numbness and tingling in (mostly) my right hand. So, I’m banned from prolonged use of computer currently. Yes, it’s hell….

Security Justice

Later on today, the Security Justice podcast will kick-off their first ever Annual Interntional Podcast BBQ. I was lucky enough to get an invite, and even though they’re not offering me an BBQ food (I’m a little far off for that), I will get to chat to the guys about life, love and breaking things. I’ll also be lucky enough to share the time on the show with Robin Wood (@digininja). Also make sure to tune in and listen to Frank (@autonessus) talk about his Autonessus project (or is it AutoVamp now Frank ???). It sounds like it’s going to be lots of fun.

So if your out grilling your own toxic BBQ listen in on some of the great interviews and the usual hi-jinks and surprises!

Since tomorrow is labor day here in the USA, we decided that it’s a great day to BBQ, drink some brews and interview some of our international friends (and a few in the states). Ironically, Labor day began in…Canada.  So you can thank James Arlen for allowing all of us in the US a day off!  Here is the line up for tomorrows special live Security Justice broadcast. You can listen live from 3-8pm EDT on hak5radio.com and chat with us in IRC: irc.freenode.net #securityjustice:

3pm – Setup, welcome and begin drinking/grilling
4pm – Frank Breedijk (@autonessus)
5pm – Chris John Riley (@ChrisJohnRiley) and Robin Wood (@digininja)
6pm – James Arlen (@myrcurial)
7pm – Nick Owen (@wikidsystems)
8pm – Clean-up and the usual banter…

So, if you’re free, make sure to logon to the live-stream of the show, or hop on the IRC channel and say hi.
